From the Principal’s Desk:
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! (1 John 3:1)
Does this mean our students won’t have difficult days? Does this mean homework will come easy for everyone? Does this mean we won’t have suffering and loss? The answer to these questions are, “no.” The comfort that the teachers will remind our students each and every day is that their Savior Jesus loves them and gave himself up for them as a perfect sacrifice so we can all be together with Jesus in heaven someday.
Does that previous paragraph sound familiar? It is the paragraph I used in our September issue of the Epistle. With the Lord calling home his sister Miss MyKayla Jensen, our 2nd grade teacher, this paragraph became real very quickly. Yes, our students have had some difficult days and yet the Lord is right beside us every step of the way. The students and teachers faced loss up close and personal and again our Lord has been with us every step of the way and on several of those days, he just picked us up and carried us through the extremely difficult times. See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God.
