Greetings from 6th grade! There are only 5 students in 6th grade and it has great for all of us to get to know each other. Although it took a few days to get back into school routines, the students are starting to remember their math facts and have already shown great improvement in their reading and writing skills. In our room we have a daily puzzle, which might be a rebus, a question pertaining to something from one of our classes, or something unrelated to school. These brain teasers are something they look forward to each day. We have several devotion books that we use, but are especially enjoying our afternoon devotional If the Devil Made You Do It, You Blew It. Each devotion contains lessons that apply to our lives. Even with all of the sin and temptation in the world, we are reminded to continually fix our eyes on Jesus and trust in his forgiveness and promise of eternal life with him in heaven.
